CFP DH Benelux Journal issue 2018

The new DH Benelux journal aims to publish a series of articles based on abstracts that were presented at DH Benelux conferences. This includes abstracts for panels, posters, and demos – given that they are sufficiently reworked to include a research hypothesis and (preliminary) results.

Therefore, we would now like to invite all authors of abstracts that have been accepted for DH Benelux 2018 to submit a full-length version of their DH Benelux presentation as an article for the journal’s inaugural issue: Integrating Digital Humanities. In line with this year’s conference theme, we particularly welcome submissions which critically reflect upon the question of how the digital turn affects knowledge production and dissemination in the humanities and heritage sector. Articles can range from 4000-8000 words (including footnotes).

The issue will be guest-edited by Julie Birkholz (Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities, Ghent University) and Gerben Zaagsma (Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH), University of Luxembourg).

  • Deadline for submission of articles: 10 November 2018, 23:59 CEST
  • Notification of acceptance: Early January 2019
  • Resubmissions: Mid March 2019
  • Publication of issue: June 2019

Initial submissions should be in PDF. Final versions of accepted articles can be submitted in either LaTeX or Markdown. More details on where to submit and how to format your paper will be announced at a later date. Submissions should be submitted via EasyChair:
